Regular meetings are hosted on Zoom, and often also in person, to accommodate DAR members worldwide, and our current membership includes members from Nevada, as well as California, Indiana, New York, New Mexico, Ohio, Rhode Island, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Vermont, and the United Kingdom.  Our members volunteer in their home communities and online.

Mission Statement:

"The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children."

This cow belongs to Paseo Verde Library in Henderson, NV.  Each month it is decorated in a theme related to the program highlighted by the library.  February 2025 the library selected Dreama Brower's program "Unherd Voices" and this is how the cow was decorated.

Dreama Applied for a $500 National Grant from DAR to support "Unheard Voices" at the Paseo Verde Library and she won!  These are some of the books purchased with the grant and by Dreama herself.

Dreama Brower shares the exhibit "Unheard Voices" which includes posters placed throughought the library, new books (purchased with a grant from DAR Dreama applied for and was awarded, plus her own generosity), word games, videos, bookmarks, pins, and more.

Chapter members gather with Dreama Brower and library staff at Paseo Verde Library to admire the "Unheard Voices" exhibit created by Dreama, honoring Revolutionary Patriots whose stories are often overlooked.
